Nel 1450, come si è detto, egli coi fratelli Gio vanni e Andrea ottenne dal duca la cittadinanza di Milano e di Pavia; vollero poi annoverare Cicco come loro cittadino Novara (a. Lodi (a. Piacenza e Parma (a. Como nel 1472, come pare, volle collocato sulla facciata della Cattedrale il ritratto in marmo di lui, che ancor oggi si vede, di fronte a quello di Plinio il Giovane; Cicco fu benemerito di Como per i favori concessi alla sua industria laniera e per gli aiuti pecuniari alla costruzione di quella cattedrale.
