Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book presents a collection of historical records spanning from the first century to the sixteenth century. The author has organized these records to tell the story of some of the key figures and events in the history of Italy. The records are diverse, including chronicles, memoirs, personal letters, government documents, poetry, and religious writings. Through these writings, readers can trace the development of the Italian peninsula, from the rise and fall of the Roman Empire through the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and extending into early modern times. While some of the writings are firsthand accounts of important events, many are reflections written long after the events, and offer a unique perspective on how Italians perceived their own history. This book will be a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of Italy, or for scholars interested in the ways in which historical narratives are shaped through writing. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 9780366984206_0
