Cheryl L. Reed's articles have appeared in U.S. News and World Report, Mother Jones, and Salon.com, among others. She is the recipient of the Harvard University Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting, the Investigative Reporters & Editors Award for Investigative Reporting and the Edgar A. Poe Award from the White House Correspondents' Association. She is currently an investigative reporter at the Chicago Sun-Times.
