KATH MURDOCH is an experienced primary teacher and author of several books for children and teachers. She is currently lecturing in the Faculty of Education at the University of Melbourne, working extensively in schools designing and implementing a range of professional development programs for teachers, and is involved in researching teacher learning in relation to integrated curriculum.JULIE HAMSTON has had many years of experience as a classroom teacher and is the author of a range of factual texts for children. She is currently lecturing in the Department of Language, Literacy and Arts Education at the University of Melbourne and is actively involved in promoting and researching the study of Asia in schools.
