Edmond P. Rondeau, AIA, CFM, IFMA Fellow, is Director of Consulting Services for the Corporate Business Facilities Division of Johnson Controls World Services, Inc. An architect and certified facility manager with an MBA in real estate, he has worked in strategic planning, real estate, design, construction management, and maintenance and operations for different corporations, including Contel Corporation and the Coca-Cola Company. He has held various offices with the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and has received several of its awards. Mr. Rondeau has lectured and written extensively on facility management and corporate real estate; he has authored the manual Principles of Corporate Real Estate, and codeveloped real estate management information and capital project budget tracking systems. Robert Kevin Brown, PhD, CRE, AICP, is Director of Corporate Real Estate Advisory Services for Cohen Financial Corporation and a nationally known lecturer and consultant on asset management strategies to many Fortune 500 companies. He was previously Director of Corporate Real Estate for Rockwell International Corporation. Dr. Brown is Professor and Chairman Emeritus at Georgia State University's College of Business Administration and the former chairman and founder of its Department of Real Estate. He has codeveloped PC-based corporate real estate asset management systems, authored numerous articles and eleven books on real estate, including Real Estate Asset Management (Wiley), and served in editorial and advisory capacities for the National Real Estate Investor Magazine and The Arnold Encyclopedia of Real Estate. He holds memberships in a number of international associations, including IFMA, NACORE, IDRC, and the American Society of Real Estate Counselors. Paul D. Lapides, CPA, MBA, is a managing consultant with the international accounting and consulting firm of BDO Seidman. His experience includes advising many Fortune 500 companies and managing real estate assets valued in excess of one billion dollars. Mr. Lapides is an assistant professor of management and entrepreneurship at Kennesaw State College, and is an adjunct assistant professor of real estate at New York University. Edmond P.
