NARSIM GANTI, PhD, has spent the past fifteen years with the Boeing Company. He is responsible for setting and defining computing architecture direction for all computation-related activities for the Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, including strategy planning and technology assessment of large-scale implementations. Currently, Dr. Ganti is working on the transition of legacy systems to an architected environment. He received his PhD in theoretical and applied mechanics from the University of Illinois, Urbana. WILLIAM BRAYMAN is an architect for distributed information systems and manages the deployment of these systems in the large-scale manufacturing environment of the Boeing Company. He has developed information systems in several industries, including aerospace manufacturing, medicine, finance, and telecommunications systems. Mr. Brayman received his MS in cognitive and social psychology from Rutgers University.
