She is the coauthor of three previous books, including Social Development: History, Theory, and Research.

LEON KUCZYNSKI, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Department of Family Studies at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Kuczynski has served as an editorial consultant for Developmental Psychology, Child Development, and numerous other professional journals.
