As the UK s only charity concerned with both mental illness and learning disabilities, the Mental Health Foundation plays a vital role in pioneering new approaches to prevention, treatment and care. The Foundation s work includes allocating grants for research and community projects, contributing to public debate, educating and influencing policy-makers and health care professionals and striving to reduce the stigma attached to mental illness and learning disabilities.
