Antennas and propagation are the two key factors for the physical transmission aspect of wireless communication. Signal transmission can be influenced by antenna design and there are various factors that can and will influence the propagation of signals in wireless communication systems. This volume covers the basic concepts and design of wireless systems. It illustrates concepts by giving specific examples and illustrations of observed phenomena, followed by a description of the processes and concepts generally responsible.
