Childbirth is one of life's greatest moments. Produced by the Common Knowledge Trust, this pack aims to empower pregnant women and make giving birth a rewarding and natural experience. The information is provided in an easy-to-understand book, video and audio cassette, designed to demystify pregnancy, labour and birth, and to give each woman the knowledge she needs to understand her unique body structure and how it works. The demonstrated exercises (best started at 22-26 weeks into the pregnancy) provide practical, realistic ways to prepare for the amazing experience of childbirth, both physically and mentally, and have been seen to be beneficial before and during labour, easing the course of a natural birth. The kit is also accessible to fathers and midwives who want to support women during pregnancy and labour. The information in this kit comes from women and men of different cultures, religions and socio-economic backgrounds, and is a combination of traditional time-tested techniques and modern advances in understanding. The Common Knowledge Charitable Trust has bases in Australia, New Zealand and Zimbabwe. During March 1998, the Common Knowledge Trust held a gathering of traditional and medically trained midwives in the village of Ntshamathe in southern Zimbabwe, organized by Dr Barbara Sibanda, founder and director of the Traditional and Medical Clinic in Bulawayo. Common Knowledge is working to archive traditional knowledge and share this information worldwide. All proceeds of this kit go to the charitable trust.

paperback. Zustand: Good. Our good condition books are generally good for reading but not for gifting or collecting. They could have imperfections such as creasing, fanning, inscriptions, margin notes, yellowing, staining on edge or cover or pages, bumps, scuffs, etc etc (sometimes multiple of these). It's a wide category that encompasses anything that isn't almost-new down to anything that is slightly better than poor. We would NOT recommend gifting Good books - these should be considered reading copies. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.
