In 1739 his tragedy of Mufiapha was produced at drury-lane theatre, under the patronage of the Prince of Wales but our author does not appear to have been fuccefsful in his dramatic attempts for this piece, though performed with applaufe dur ing the run, was never revived. It was dedicated to his Royal Patron. The prologue was written by his friend Thomfon.
