Cambridge has taken the opportunity to fully revise the original successful Spectrum Maths 8. This new edition is able to cater for a wider range of abilities. Revisions were made to the chapter sequence and the level of development within a chapter, and the exercises have been given two levels. Questions in the first level introduce the concepts of the section - they are straight forward in style and closely tied to the Worked Examples to ensure early success. The questions in the second level extend and broaden understanding - they involve more than one step, as well as explanations, applications, new concepts and links to previous topics.
