He tries to explain why so many of us, whoever we barrack for, are gripped by an unreasonable passion for football.

Biografía del autor:

James Button is a former Age journalist and Federal Government speechwriter. His 2012 book, Speechless: A Year in My Father's Business, was shortlisted for the National Book Industry Book of the Year, the National Biography Award, the Walkley Award and the Melbourne Prize. He is Communications Manager at the Grattan Institute and spends his winter Saturdays following the Geelong Football Club.
