"Three features that I especially like are: 1) the exercises that help students identify learning styles, 2) the suggestions for improving classroom performance, and 3) the study checklist to be used before taking a test. Overall, I like the positive approach the book takes." "I like the exercises. I feel that they lead the students to discover their deep-seated thoughts and anxieties and can be very beneficial for recovering from math anxiety. The case studies model different situations and the exercises serve as a sort of path for students to follow in order to discover their own situations and solutions to their anxieties. Overall, I like everything about the book. Students are constantly reminded that they have worth and that they can do math."
