An eccentric group of people join with the King's Tramp to prevent the Queen of Noise from destroying the multiple realities that make up creation. De Haven's iconoclastic approach to fantasy breathes new life into a genre too often hampered by cliches and conventions. Readers unfamiliar with Walker of Worlds and The End-of-Everything Man will find this series conclusion difficult going, but fans will enjoy the quirky humor and offbeat characters.
