Inhaltsangabe

Much to his parents' dismay, three-year-old Matt doesn't want to sleep alone in his own bed. One night he is visited by the Pillow Fairy, and his magical journey begins. Soon Matt realizes that sleeping in his own bed-all by himself, can be a fun and rewarding experience. "Dedicated to all the mommies and daddies who never sleep alone", Marcia G. Riley uses her own family's personal story to enchant small readers and help families deal with the common and difficult issue of getting children to go to sleep alone, and stay in their own beds-all night long. It has been used by parents, grandparents, therapists and pediatricians. As one doctor said, "It is a picture book for parents." Even if you do not have a sleep issue, your little one will love Marcia's flowing prose and Joni's beautiful illustrations. The Pillow Fairy has become a family treasure, a book that stays on the shelf long after it is no longer needed to be passed down to generations. Go to www.thepillowfairy.net to read more.

Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Marcia Gale Riley lives in Lawrence, KS., with her husband Steve. She received her BS from the University of Kansas and her MA from Emporia State University. She has been fortunate to have two wonderful sons, to have supportive family and friends, and to have taught at the small rural school, "Billtown", in Williamstown, Kansas, for 32 years. She loves to read, exercise, eat ice cream and travel to faraway places. The Pillow Fairy began as her own family's personal story, and sharing it with others has been both a great honor and a joy.

Joni E. Patterson lives in small-town Kansas where she snacks on too many sweets, takes her dog for walks on backroads, tries to find more space on her bookshelf, and doodles things of whimsy. She obsesses over all things East-Asian and talks to her horse about the story ideas she's currently dreaming up. Joni is so grateful for her family and the many other blessings God has placed inher llife. Jon's mother is a former student of the author.
