One character searches for a father, another for a daughter; one tries to manipulate a lover, another strives to disengage. Although the ages and backgrounds of the characters vary, all have their own private motivations.

Gerard R. D'Alessio received his PhD in clinical psychology from Northwestern University. After practicing for 37 years, he retired to Philadelphia, where he now lives with his artist wife, Susan. His fiction focuses on psychological conflicts - the passions of intimate relationships and family dramas.
