Inhaltsangabe

An Afghanistan war veteran finds love that costs him his job and could cost him his life.

For twenty-six-year-old Caleb Sinclair, adjusting to civilian life is tough. After three combat tours, Caleb suffers from PTSD and a recurring dream that leads to panic attacks. He finally gets a job as a bouncer at a sports club in the Arizona desert. But after he rescues the bartender, a green-eyed, auburn-haired beauty, from a menacing drunk, their relationship soon becomes romantic. Discovering romance after war should be the highlight of his year. Instead, it puts him in the mafia’s crosshairs and sets him on a collision course with an old man who has a plan that could change Caleb’s life forever.

Buck Dopp’s new crime novel featuring war veteran Caleb Sinclair is a heart-stopping suspenseful blend of love and crime. Second Wind follows one man’s cross-country adventures as an Army vet learns to start over, risks falling in love, and finds forgiveness.
