"Third Dimension" is an intermediate level course for adults and young adult learners of English. It uses a variety of topics, characters and situations to stimulate students' interest and to give them the means to talk and write about themselves. This text can be used as a free-standing book or as a course leading directly into "Fourth Dimension". Together, "Third" and "Fourth Dimension" take students up to a level equivalent to the Cambridge First Certificate. This coursebook contains 16 units covering topics such as relationships, changing ways of life, jobs, the future etc. The units provide practice of grammatical structures in communicative contexts, offer creative "freestyle" sections and cover the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, with extra emphasis on stress and pronunciation.
