Jill Steans and Lloyd Pettiford are both experienced teachers and researchers in international relations and also have prior experience of trying to learn IR theory. Jill is currently Senior Lecturer in International Relations at Birmingham University. Lloyd is
Associate Dean of the School of Arts, Communication and Culture at Nottingham Trent University.
