Über die Autorinnen und Autoren
Matt de la Peña attended the University of the Pacific on a basketball scholarship and went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing at San Diego State University. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, where he teaches creative writing.
Matt de la Peña es el primer autor méxicanoamericano en ganar la Medalla Newbery. Asistió a la University of the Pacific con una beca de básquetbol, y después recibió su maestría en escritura creativa en San Diego State University.
