Ground X is a powerful story about the atrocities, but also the love, that war can create.
A child is in hiding in Holland during WWII. The SS is after him and his hiding family. The family is arrested and the boy tries to exchange himself for his family in jail. He is instead transported to a concentration camp, where he meets one of the female guards. A relationship tentatively develops between the guard and the boy, and grows. In the end, the reality of war-torn Europe extends its damaging hand.
