Born in White Plains, New York, in 1927, David Philpott moved to Toronto during the 1930's. Mr. Philpott is a director of the Canadian Psychiatric Research Foundation, the Canadian Opera Company, the Jean Tweed Treatment Centre and the InterProvincial Music Camp. Dangerous Waters is his first book.
