Inhaltsangabe

Losing the only home, that Elaina Morgan had ever known, left the young woman confused as to what to do next. Her only living relative, that she was aware of, was her father's brother who lived in Texas. Elaina had no way of contacting him. With only one week to vacate the property, she accepted the position of caring for nine year old, Nancy Farley. Although the girl was a challenge, her father was an even greater one.Bitter, since his wife had walked out and left him with a blind child, eight years ago, Chase Farley did not welcome Elaina into his home. His pa, Howard Farley, brought Elaina home, one day informing Chase that she had nowhere else to go and that Nancy needed a woman's guidance. Chase did not try to hide the fact that he had no use for women. With help from the Lord, Elaina soon shows him that not all women are like his wife.
