Cathy Sue Carpenter, a native Chicagoan, began her love for writing in the sixth grade. Growing up, she expressed herself through dance, writing and photography. However, she was encouraged to take a sensible path in life. At 17 years old, she joined the troupes in Corporate America, and attempted to suppress her creativity in order to conform. However, still in need to express herself, she quietly continued to write.She currently resides in Chicago?s West Rogers Park with her husband and their 3 cats. Most of her free time is spent traveling and working on her novel.
