Inhaltsangabe

"This book is a [key to the] door of heaven, a secret treasure-trove of nectarous immortality and the sacred garland around the throats of Kriyavans. One who has once drunk the nectar falling from the Sahasrar - he should sit in complete secrecy and study this book. 'Study' means abiding with complete stillness of mind - meaning, the par avastha of Kriya, which is extremely secret. Because all of these secret matters are in this work, this [work] is hereby given the name 'Manu Rahasya.'" --from the Introduction of the original Bengali Edition of Lahiri Mahasaya's Manu Samhita

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Yoga Niketan was founded by Sri Sailendra Bejoy Dasgupta, an eminent disciple of Swami Sriyukteshvar Giriji Maharaj of Serampore. It was created in order to present, protect and preserve Acharya Dasguptaji's writings and those within his lineage. This mission was entrusted into the hands of his chosen and established spiritual successors who represent him and his line of Gurus. This lineage continues to this day and it is they who publish and carefully protect these books.
