Inhaltsangabe

The author draws upon images found in nature as metaphor for personal experiences. You may recognize moments and characters from your own life: the woman who looks for the right amount of structure in her life; the carpenter who loses everything and begins again; the insomniac who questions why we expect the night to be "seamless"; the tired working mother who must remain strong to "contain the fire, shore up walls against storm, lift to heaven dream-castle spires." You will enjoy following this author as she looks for meaning in reflections on the physical world as well as the place where "air is light" and "memories live." Sample from text: Traces The residue of our deeds lingers, clings to our days and our dreams, coloring ever so slightly our moments. As weighty as Marley's chains, the grit of experience settles. Those who bumped against us in life, each with his own story, live now in memory, informing our thoughts. Past joys fuel our hopes. Sorrows press low our spirits. Traces remain, becoming the lens of our perception. Copyright 2011 All rights reserved.
