From 1985 until his death in 1998 the stream continued to be a source of inspiration and synthesis of representation and abstraction. The hardcover edition includes 128 pages, with 104 illustrations including 62 plates in full color. The book includes an introduction by David Adams Cleveland, an illustrative history by Ralph Wickiser, as well as essays by Gerrit Henry, Lilly Wei and Judd Tully.
