Biografía del autor

Born in 1974, Kirk Ross grew up in rural, northern Illinois, the son of a pastor and a financial planner. An aspiring college professor, he studied Mathematics, German and History in college, including a year living in Europe. By the time he finished graduate school, he knew that academia was not the right place for him. He needed something with a little more real-world impact, so he went to law school at Northwestern University in Chicago. Kirk spent the next five years in Chicago, graduating from law school and working at one of the big, sweat-shop law firms for which big-city legal circles are justly famous. With a young family, he decided that life at the big firm was not worth the paycheck. He took his family and moved to northwest Ohio where he spent the next several years at banks and a law firm, specializing in estate planning and trust administration. He became an expert in how property is passed from one generation to the next – and the drama that can come with it. After several years in that business, Kirk picked up his pen and started writing The Last McKenzie, many parts of which are based on Kirk’s actual experiences. The Last McKenzie is Kirk’s first completed novel. But it will not be his last. Keep your eyes open for his next exciting thriller.
