Pit Crew: How to Survive a Spiritual Pit Stop is a short pocket book birthed from the spirit of “Life Styler” Renair Amin. Filled with accounts of how she overcame her own personal tragedies, she uses racing as a metaphor for life to give the reader two essentials - instructions on track navigation and insight on developing their own support structure, affectionately known as the Pit Crew.

A prolific author, motivational speaker, and life coach, Renair Amin believes that “Her Voice is Her Purpose” and lives her life accordingly. In 2010, she was awarded the Urban Lyfe Award for Best Spoken Word Artist, as well as named one of the Top 5 Lesbian Entrepreneurs by LezNation Magazine for her work under Pmyner, a creative entertainment company catering to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community which she founded in 2006. Since its closing in 2011, Renair has not stopped pursuing various paths to live her purpose. As an author, she has written for various print and on-line publications, leading to the release of her first poetry collection Mental Silhouette in April 2011. Also a licensed Minister of the Gospel at Restoration Temple Ministries, she serves as the Director of the Spiritually Speaking Literary Ministry and Associate Director of the R.A.Y Youth & Young Adult Ministry. Renair Amin is a volunteer motivational speaker in PFLAG’s Cultivating Respect: Safe Schools for All initiative, which seeks to provide support, education, and advocacy to students, parents, families, friends, and educators. In addition, Renair is a Certified Life Coach, Certified Relationship Coach, and Certified Spiritual Coach. She recently founded Life Stylin’ with Renair: The Coaching Experience, which specializes in helping others to style their lifestyle. She currently lives with her wife and son in Brooklyn, NY.
