The Portals of LIFE is a process book for those interested in digging deep inside and looking at one' s values, ideals and the meaning in one’s life. Open your mind and heart to the voice inside you and through focus, introspection and awareness you can alter your circumstances and constantly grow. The inspiration for this book came from Ben Franklin's. Thirteen Virtues. Each week he would think about a different word, such as Sincerity, Moderation, Chastity and implement it in his life. Ben believed that the process gave him a foundation to create new thought and offer insight into old ideas. The Portals of Life has been written for those who seek knowledge in the twenty first century. Over twenty-six weeks using the alphabet from A to Z the reader is given a word to consider, such as Attitude, Environment, and Passion. Each chapter contains the author’s meaning of the word, its dictionary meaning, a quote from a famous person, a short personal story, three questions to be answered in a journal, as well as reference to films and books on the subject gathered from different cultures, eras, religions and philosophies. This process will help the reader look at various views they had not previously considered. The author will be conducting Webinars as an adjunct to this book. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Judi Weisbart is first and foremost she is a wife and mother, a daughter, sister and friend because these relationships hold the essence of a successful life. She is also an author, consultant, speaker, trainer and facilitator. Her company A Busy Woman Consulting works with non-profits and businesses to create mission driven events and branding that connects their purpose to community. She has worked as a senior consultant for the Adizes Institute and has held the position of program director and teacher for an Economic Development Corporation, Women’s Economic Ventures (WEV) She has successfully created community coalitions designed to enhance financial and physical health and well being of all citizens. Her international experience includes: featured speaker at the International Jewish Women Conference in Israel; presenting entrepreneurial training programs for women in Hungary, where she received a certificate of Honor from the Hungarian Government; and designing and implementing a corporate training program for female employees of a large corporation in Mexico. She sits on the advisory committee for Women, Culture and Development at University of California, Santa Barbara Legal Aid Foundation, LifeChronicles, Lobero Theater, Profant Foundation for the Arts, Casa Serena and Teaching Fair. In addition to her businesses, Judi has volunteered a number of events. She produced International Women's Day 2003 for over 1000 people, Anne Frank in the World Exhibit, the Henrietta Marie Slave Ship Exhibition, 2001 with over 8,000 school children attending and has moderated a number of panels, discussions and focus groups on social justice issues. Her passion is to inspire all to find their purpose in this world and play their role to make it a better place for all.
