And statistic after statistic is verifying the same ugly picture. We are losing our children, and homeschool families are not immune to this crisis. What is the answer? The answer does not lie within the halls of government, nor does it necessarily lie within the church. The answer to this problem can be found in God’s Word and the solution rest with the parents. Home Discipleship is the key. But sadly, disciple making in the home is often thought of last and at times not at all. For some reason we think that if we are believers our children will automatically come to Christ and follow His ways. This book is about the discipleship process we find all throughout Scripture applied to the home. It covers the biblical mandate we have as parents, the structure of the Christian home, how to keep the proper perspective, fundamentals and practicalities of home discipleship, and addresses how a homeschooling lifestyle can help parents accomplish this very objective. Each chapter includes practical application questions to be used for personal reflection and family discussion.

Kimberly Williams is a pastor’s wife, homeschooling mother, author, and most importantly a disciple of Jesus Christ. Living in NW Arkansas with her husband and three precious children, her career is her family. Kimberly has contributed to various homeschooling magazines and enjoys freelance writing on Christian topics such as marriage and parenting. Her passion for writing has one purpose, to point others to Jesus Christ. Kimberly is the author of Living Out the Word, a series of expository ladies Bible studies through the books of the Bible. In addition to writing, Kimberly also enjoys speaking to women and encouraging them in their daily walk with the Lord. She points them to God’s Word and challenges them to be a true help meet to their husbands and loving mothers to their children. She uses practical application, storytelling, laughter, and most importantly, the Word of God. In her spare time, Kimberly loves to read, play the piano, and write songs and poetry.
