David Wecker wrote a newspaper column for 20-some years that appeared three times a week in "The Cincinnati Post" and "The Kentucky Post." He shared a corner of "The Post" with Nick Clooney, whose son, George, became a famous actor, and who was gracious enough to write the foreword for "Square Pegs." David has written seven books on subjects ranging from creativity and courage to a North Pole expedition and He-Man, a Mattel action figure his Uncle Roger Sweet invented that was a billion-dollar idea in the 1980s and crashed as quickly as it skyrocketed. David and his wife, Karen, live in a 200-year-old log home made from trees that were seedlings when the Declaration of Independence was signed. David's kiddos, Sam and Betsy, are his heroes. Since leaving "The Post," he has been telling stories on video for non-profits, healthcare groups and companies that care deeply about the work they do and their constituencies.
