This volume, the fifth edition of a popular volume in the "Lecture Notes" series, describes the use of biochemical tests in the diagnosis, treatment and management of disease. Case histories, a revision chapter and a chapter on molecular biology have been included for the first time in this edition, which has been revised and updated throughout.
