Inhaltsangabe

From a young man to someone now solidly in his eighties, Tony Lang has loved the art of poetry. The poems in The Channel Bank and other verses, reflect his love of family and of the natural world, and his take on the quirky twist on life. The poetry is written in the classic style of easy to read, genuine verse and metre that is not easy to find among modern poets. If you have a love of the natural world, you will also discover poems that blend superbly the creation and the Creator with "all creatures great and small," and a deep spirituality woven through the pages. You will find personal sadness: Reflections on My Death alongside droll humour: Reflections on the Death of a Fly and everything in between. The reader will be enriched and amused in reading this poetry and find their appetite whetted for more.
