Her experience in working with children and teenagers has been wide and extensive as Karen is also an educator and has worked in the private and public school systems, both in primary and secondary classrooms. Her roles have included classroom teaching, administration, curriculum development and specialist care for families in home education environments. She has provided professional assistance to clinicians, educators and parents in Australia and in many countries around the world. Karen specialises in childhood trauma, particularly loss, grief and anxiety.
