Qua in editione diligenter, nt uidetur, adornata, cum liber manuscrip tus ipse neque in Bibliotheca Vindocinensi praesto sit neque alibi adhuc reperiri potuerit, nobis acquiescendum est. Hic codex, licet barbarie corruptelis redundauerit, tamen nerba genuina auctoris ipsius et translationis Sacras Scripturae, quae Itala falso appellatur, nonnumquam inexspectata fide posteritati propagauisse censendus est.
