David Gardner, architect of The Motley Fool, is a former writer for Louis Rukeyser's Wall Street Week, is married, is the father of a perfect child and was a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina. His brother, Tom Gardner, voice of The Motley Fool, is a graduate of Brown University, an ex-girls basketball coach, and taught business and investing at the University of Montana.
