Technology isn't only the way of the future, but also the way of today. With electronics, computer chips, transmitters, and so on finding their way into the most common of household and office environments, most people find that they really don't know very much about the technological advances they use. They need their phones, cameras, computers, and cars to work the way they think-with common sense. Alan Cooper offers up the revelation. "Cooper's approach to design is winning lots of converts, including clients such as Sun Microsystems, Coca-Cola, Compaq, and Dow Jones." -Fast Company Magazine "Once again, Alan Cooper shows the way. His books should be required reading for all those technology companies who think they are serving their customers: think again. We need more books like this one, more people like Alan Cooper." -Don Norman, Nielsen Norman Group, Author of The Invisible Computer "This clear-headed book teaches leaders what they need to know to create systems that win in the marketplace... you will find this one of the most thoughtful, practical, and helpful books you can read." -Larry Keeley, President, Doblin Group "Cooper's book is a manifesto about how to improve the quality of life in an age where we spend so much time interacting with technology." -Peter Hirshberg, CEO, Elemental Software
