Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Connie Perez, a native New Mexican, is a ranch wife, mother, grandmother, and retired elementary school teacher of thirty-three years. In 2008, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. In 2018, after retiring from teaching and eager to find a way to cope with the disease, she picked up a paintbrush and applied color to canvas. Five months later she had completed over one hundred canvases; written and illustrated two companion volumes on ranch life for young children; and was accepting commissioned work, holding auctions, participating in art fairs, and running her own gallery. Connie considers her work a testament to the power of divine intervention in her life.
