Mike Ayers brings to his writing over thirty years of vocational ministry experience in large congregations and small ministries, training leaders not only in the church but also in businesses and college classrooms since 2001.

Holding a PhD in organizational leadership from Regent University, Ayers is the founding and current pastor of The Brook Church in northwest Houston. He also serves as a professor and chair of the Department of Leadership Studies at the College of Biblical Studies, Houston.
