Reseña del editor:
A Soldier’s Story is a novel or mythomemoir that looks back on the author's early army service and his time living in Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur, and on Hunter Liggett Military Reservation in the most excellent state of California in the early 1970s. Interwoven throughout are flashbacks of his Vietnam wartime experiences much the same way as these flashbacks have occurred throughout his life. Two more volumes, A Fisherman’s Story and An Artist’s Story draw on his thirty-year U.S. Army and Army Reserve career. The Fish Story he tells in one part harmony in Volume II is the reason he wrote this triliogy over a twelve-year time frame. As his army career culminated with his being appointed as the Army’s Artist, Volume III covers how that happened.

From that Bosnia Art Project, one painting, Checkpoint at Bedrock, honoring U.S. Army soldiers’ Bosnia service, was unveiled at the U.S. Capitol building in a ceremony on April 11, 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Washington University in St. Louis Missouri, a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Claremont Graduate University in Claremont California, and a Doctorate in Education from George Mason University in Fairfax Virginia. In 2001, his sculpture, I’ll Ride in These No More, was acquired by the National Vietnam Veterans Art Museum in Chicago, Illinois. Volume I: "A Soldier’s Story" is available now, Volume II: "A Fisherman’s Story" and Volume III: "An Artist’s Story" will be available soon.
