Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Erin Thorburn pitched her first children's book title to author James Marshall for his "George and Martha" series when she was eight years old. Although he politely declined, his return letter was one of many fortuitous happenings that inspired her to continue her love of writing. Since then, Erin has continued to develop a successful writing career following the acquisition of her B.A. in English. For over a decade, Erin has contributed to a number of national print and online publications. In 2015, Erin published her first fully-illustrated children's book, "Stick to it Chick," under the name "Erin Davis" which she plans to soon revise and publish as a second edition. When she's not wordsmithing, Erin is likely presenting writing workshops and inspiring young minds to embrace their love of creative writing. If she's not crafting stories or presenting them, you'll find Erin imbibing mass quantities of coffee; geeking out to "Star Wars," LOTR, Harry Potter, GOT and other fine fantasy and sci-fi greats; attempting to master a yoga pose; and/or enjoying the company of her three daughters, love of her life, one dog, cat, bunny, and hope of an exotic bird in the near future.
