David Stuart Davies is a member of the national committee of the Crime Writers' Association and edits its monthly magazine, Red Herrings. He has written many books about Sherlock Holmes including five novels and the award winning play, Sherlock Holmes - The Last Act. He is co-founder of The Mystery Men, a literary performance group. This is the third novel in the Johnny One Eye series. Forests of the Night and Comes the Dark were also published by Hale. David is married to Kathryn and lives happily with her in Yorkshire.
