Stanley Hall lives near Skipton. A former Signalling & safety Officer for the British Railway Board, in retirement he has become one of Britain's leading expert on the subject of railway safety. He is the author of a number of highly successful book for Ian Allan publishing, including the first two editions of abc Modern Signalling Handbook, Danger Signals, danger on the Line and Hidden Dangers
