Buchbeschreibung Hardcover. Zustand: Near Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Near Fine. 1st Edition. First Edition ( 'First published in Great Britain in 1992' ). Both the book and the dust jacket are in excellent condition. You can see the book's covers in the photos. They are exceptionally clean. The silver lettering on the spine is nicely bright. The cover edges and corners look terrific. So do the spine ends. The page edges are exceptionally clean too. The book has a very slight rearward lean, but the binding is very solid from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. No binding issues. The white inside covers and end papers are bright and perfectly clean. That fairly describes the pages in the book. I'm not finding any instances of soiling. I'm not finding any instances of creasing (revision, I just found one teeny tiny crease at the very tip of one bottom corner). There are no markings. No attachments. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. Despite there being a lot of white, it is extremely clean. There are no tears. The flaps are in excellent shape as well. They each have just a little creasing off their top edges. They are perfectly clean, no tears. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned. I've rated both the book and the jacket Near Fine because Fine equals perfect to me, but both are very close to perfect. From the dust jacket: 'Phone Wars details the struggles between Mercury and British Telecom. It is a unique account of the privatization and deregulation of the British telecommunications industry, an event of exceptional policy importance not only for Britain but for countries around the world.'.
