The Design Roots Author Team

Keelin Leahy is Senior Lecturer in Wood Technology and Design, and Course Director for the Technology Education teacher education degree programme at the University of Limerick. She is a qualifi ed second-level teacher and holds a PhD in design-based teaching strategies for second-level education.

Ruair� Farrell is an experienced Wood Technology teacher who has taught in St Laurence College, Loughlinstown, and in St Eunan’s College, Letterkenny. He is currently a JCT Advisor for Technologies.
