Few cities can boast of a longer or richer baseball tradition than Rochester, New York. He has received more than ninety national and regional journalism awards and has been inducted into two halls of fame. The Associated Press Sports Editors organization named him one of the top ten sports columnists in the United States. He currently covers sports for the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
