George Armstrong Custer's stay before his last stand, Gen. John Hunt Morgan's raids during the Civil War, and Philip Arnold's western adventures. The Brown-Pusey House, built around 1825, is open to the public. Couples continue to marry in this historic boarding house and its formal garden.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Author Meranda L. Caswell was born and raised in Elizabethtown and Hardin County. She is currently the executive director of the Brown-Pusey House. As a research scientist, Meranda continues to investigate historic records of Hardin County as well as Smithland, Kentucky, assisting historians and genealogists.
