Super Mario Sunshine is a 3D action/adventure game for Nintendo GameCube. The game combines classic Mario gameplay with intricate new moves and surprises. The action takes place in a beautiful island, inhabited by friendly locales. Mario and Peach discover upon arrival, disturbing scribble marks covering walls throughout the island. As fate has it, the character responsible for the markings has disguised himself as Mario. Now, Mario, armed with a new water-pumping backpack, must set out to clean up the tainted walls and reveal the true villain. Players will explore the big world, collecting items as they encounter numerous obstacles and enemies. The game sports beautiful graphics and character design. Mario, himself, is more detailed than ever, and has an advanced facial animation system. Other new special effects include real-time lighting effects and reflections. Not final cover.
